- Customer Service
We provide a range of services on behalf of a number of prestigious Motor Manufactures, from Roadside Assistance, Dealer Services, Customer Support, Warranty Sales and Claims. As first point of contact for our customers, your ability to think on your feet, stay calm under pressure and provide practical solutions to problems quickly and confidently is essential.
Working within our Roadside Assistance Team you will be covering shifts on a 24/7 basis, therefore flexibility is key. So if you enjoy looking after customers in stressful situations, can show empathy and understanding for those experiencing problems at the roadside, this could be the department for you.
Our clients include Travel & Insurance Companies, Banks and Airlines to name but a few. We have a number of departments handling a variety of services including, Travel Claims, Travel Policy Sales and Medical Assistance. As first point of contact for our customers, your ability to think on your feet, stay calm under pressure and provide practical solutions to problems quickly and confidently is essential.
Working within our International Medical Team, you will be responding to customers needing assistance whilst travelling abroad. These roles require people who are caring and compassionate and are comfortable handling sensitive situations quickly and calmly. As an emergency service we operate 24/7 and therefore the flexibility to work shifts is essential. Most roles will require you to have a second European Language in addition to English.
- Support Functions
Business Improvement and Sales Support:
The Business Improvement and Sales Support teams provide essential, behind-the-scenes support to all operational areas. Within Business Improvement you will be dealing with the conception, implementation and delivery of all new projects within Allianz Global Assistance. From the departmental software to the planning of resources, you will be managing the projects from the ground up within strict deadlines to meet the expectations of our clients. Sales Support deal with our existing relationships and provide statistics and reports to the relevant account managers so that we can ensure we are providing the best possible service to our clients.
Facilities are responsible for everything from heating, lighting, vending machines, post, reception and maintenance. You will always be on hand to order office supplies such as copier paper, toners, printed paper and business cards and pay the gas and electricity bills. You will also help manage Allianz Global Assistance's outsourced contracts with our cleaning and security companies and whenever an office move is required it would be Facilities who would assist.
Our Human Resources department deal with all staff related issues from contracts of employment to pensions; payroll to employee screening. Two days are never the same in HR as you will be dealing with a wide variety of issues and questions from all levels of staff; from contact centre staff appraisal advice to director level travel expenses. You will also be responsible for any temporary staff requirements within the business.
Recruitment and Training:
The recruitment department is responsible for filling roles within all departments across the country. On a daily basis you will be dealing with people from all areas of the company as well as candidates coming in for assessments and interviews that you will be running or assisting with. Once the recruitment process is complete, the new employee will be trained by our in house training department. Here you will provide essential, initial training on our company, brand values, clients and systems whilst also encouraging and managing the development of existing staff within the business.
Whether it’s arranging equipment for new staff, developing existing programs or creating new software for our business areas, the IT department is at the heart of all Allianz Global Assistance's operations. With roles from First Line Support Analysts to .NET Application Developers, you can be sure of variety and progression within this ultramodern department.
- Finance and Underwriting
The finance and underwriting departments support the many areas of our business and product lines. Both departments need to be flexible in adapting to changing client and business needs ensuring we stay ahead and financially secure against our competitors.
The team provides underwriting terms and support for the Motor and Travel Sales teams in respect of the company’s various warranty, insurance and assistance business. You will be responsible for policy documentation and product development with respect to the various product lines and services we provide to our clients.
The Finance department safeguards the future profitability of the company by ensuring that new and renewal business pricing proposals are made at a profit in line with company objectives. Various roles are responsible for all aspects of Accounting, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, Invoicing, Tax and Treasury for all UK business units.
- Sales and Marketing
The Sales and Marketing Departments work closely together to deliver great service and products to our customers and clients.
Sales teams within our Motor and Corporate, Travel and Health departments ensure we not only retain our clients when contracts come to an end, but also explore potential avenues within their respective industries. This could be another client or a new product line with an existing business relationship. You will be responsible for sourcing new business, understanding your market area and presenting fresh ideas and concepts to both internal and external business directors.
The marketing department support multiple areas of the business in a variety of ways, using various mediums. Their main responsibilities are internal and external communications, brand, corporate marketing, company staff events, corporate events, exhibitions and filming and photography. The department also has their own design team who develop all creative design for Allianz Global Assistance including tender responses and corporate marketing and proactively look at ways to develop our business offerings.
Providing a dedicated branded service on behalf of a number of prestigious Motor Manufacturers, our Roadside Technicians need to create the right first impression every time. As well as having the technical expertise to diagnose and repair customer’s vehicles, excellent customer service skills are essential in this demanding and challenging role.
