Dubai is, generally speaking, a safe place to visit on holiday although it is worth noting that The UAE don’t publish their crime statistics . As with most countries, be wary of pickpocketing, scams, sexual harassment and other similar criminal activity when travelling to Dubai.
It is widely known that the culture of Dubai differs greatly from the UK’s Western culture. Familiarise yourself with these cultural differences and respect Dubai’s culture, as ignoring this can land you in trouble during your visit. Some things that are considered regular in western civilisations are illegal in The UAE. Some examples of these are as follows:
