What is a pre-existing medical condition?

Pre-existing conditions refer to medical issues that were present before you bought an insurance policy. These may include conditions for which you have undergone treatment, such as surgery, tests, or examinations by a doctor or consultant/specialist, or for which you have been prescribed medication.

How to get an online medical insurance quote

Step 1:

Click 'Get a quote' and select your type of cover from the options we have available online.

Step 2:

Fill in your basic information form online including your name, address and email. Double check all your information then press continue.

Step 3:

Declare your medical conditions in our online screening by typing the first three letters of your condition in the box and selecting your condition from the dropdown menu.

Once you've delcared all of your conditions, make sure to check over the information you've provided and press 'Finish'.

Common medical that our travel insurance covers:

Heart disease

We provide cover for high blood pressure and high cholesterol but will also consider any heart condition to find you the right cover that works for you.

Diabetes

Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes are also covered under our pre-existing medical cover insurance.

Asthma and respiratory problems

This can range from mild to severe asthma as well as other medical conditions relating to your airways like cystic fibrosis.
